FAQs

What happens if we choose one package now but wish to change the amount of coverage closer to the date?

No problem at all. Most couples don't know exactly how much coverage they'll need when they first book. You're welcome to add or remove additional hours closer to the wedding once your timeline starts coming together.

Do we need a second photographer?

Not necessarily. A single photographer is perfect for many weddings and is more than capable of documenting the day beautifully. A second photographer can be beneficial if you're having a larger wedding (over 150 guests), getting ready in separate locations, have a complex timeline, or simply want more angles and moments captured throughout the day. If you're unsure, I'm happy to discuss your plans and recommend what would work best for your celebration.

What is film photography?

Film photography uses traditional photographic film rather than a digital camera sensor. It creates a timeless, organic look with beautiful colours, soft tones, and a distinctive character that many couples love. Film images are captured more intentionally and are professionally developed and scanned after the wedding. Many photographers offer film alongside digital photography to create a unique blend of classic and modern imagery. You can see more examples of my film photography here.

Will we meet before the wedding?

Absolutely. I like to connect before the wedding to get to know you both, discuss your plans, and answer any questions you may have. This can be done in person, over the phone, or via video call. As the wedding approaches, we'll also go through your timeline, family photo list, and any important details to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.

How can we help you get the best photos on the day?

The best photos happen when you can focus on enjoying your wedding rather than worrying about the camera. Trust the process, allow plenty of time in your schedule, and choose locations with good natural light where possible. Sharing a family photo list ahead of time is incredibly helpful, and if you're comfortable being yourselves and staying present with each other, that's when the most genuine and meaningful moments are captured. If you have any specific photo requests it is very helpful to make these known before your wedding.

Do we get to choose an editing style?

My editing style is a big part of my creative approach and is reflected throughout my portfolio, so it's important that you love the look of my work before booking. While I make adjustments to suit different lighting conditions and environments, I maintain a consistent editing style across every wedding to ensure a cohesive and timeless gallery. If there are specific preferences or concerns you'd like to discuss, I'm always happy to chat about them before your wedding day.

Do you offer albums and printing?

Yes. Your wedding photographs deserve to be enjoyed beyond a screen, which is why I offer professionally designed albums and high-quality prints. Albums are custom-designed to tell the story of your day and are crafted using archival materials designed to last for generations. You can see more information of my album offering here. Prints and wall art are also available, making it easy to preserve and display your favourite memories in your home.
